The Personal Finance Portal is an online service that allows clients to stay up to date on all their investments from one place. Additional features include secure messaging, document management, and an Open Banking facility.
First of all, the Personal Finance Portal is readily available on all devices and can be used any time of the day.
The main use is to track the progress of all your investments in one place. No matter how many different portfolios you hold, you can see the latest valuations from the Portal, and you can also see how your total net worth has changed over time. Within each portfolio, you can analyse the performance of individual holdings through graphs and pie charts and even view Key Investor Information documents for funds that you own.
Using the secure messaging function, you can exchange emails with your adviser and be safe, knowing that the personal information you share is encrypted and completely private. You receive email notifications when a new secure message has been received so that you know to check your inbox within the Portal.
As we keep pace with our modern world, we mainly use electronic signatures for contracts and agreements. With the Personal Finance Portal, we can share documents with you that require a signature, and you can electronically sign them from within the Portal itself. There is no need to waste natural resources and time by printing, scanning or posting any paperwork.
Recently, a new service was added to the Portal called Open Banking. You can now link your bank accounts and loans to the Personal Finance Portal and import data relating to your transactions. From there, you can categorise your spending and review any budgets you may have set for yourself. With this data regarding your expenditure, we can improve the accuracy of any Cashflow Planning we are doing for you and then provide you with a long term view of your financial situation and decide on the best actions to take to help you achieve your financial goals.
As part of your onboarding process, you will be offered full training on how to find out the information on the Personal Finance Portal. During this training, you will be given a demo on using the functions listed above and even more features.
